Milk Carton and an Announcement

Two days ago I came across a Team Members Call to work with Kelleigh Ratzlaff's designs. I sent her my application with a couple of pictures of my favorite projects. To be honest, I never thought I would get a reply lol but to  my surprise Kelleigh replied to my application right away and invited me to join her team!! How exciting! I am thrilled to be work with her files. I remember telling Kelleigh that I had one of her files that I got as a freebie long, long time ago but never used it because I used to have a cricut but didn't have a third party software to open the SVG but now I can because I have the Silhouette Studio Designer Edition and my Cameo that cuts way better than the bug.

My first project was the milk carton file from her store. For this project I used the Yours Truly paper pack from Echo Park that I got at Archiver's. The flower is also from The Digichick store, I used a mister to wet the paper and give it an aged effect.

The window of the milk carton was done using a heart shape from the silhouette store, I used some acetate to cover my "window". For this I used the acetate that comes with dimensional stickers (you can also use the plastic wrap the paper stacks come in) I attached the acetate with my favorite glue, Scrap Happy Glue from The Rubber Cafe.

The tag was done using the same method I used in my Christmas Tags' post. I used last week's freebie from the silhouette store (be mine), tied some twine and it is hanging around the flower.

This is a close up to the flower

This is what my screen looked like when I was cutting. The heart is not part of the file, I got it from the store and put it on one of the panels to make it more Valentine-ish.

Well, that's it for today! I can't wait to show you what else you can make with the files from The Digichick, they have awesome things, check them out!

Have a nice day!
