Mom to be Hat

Remember last week I posted the diaper cake I made for my friend's sister in law's baby shower? Well, I wanted to make a hat for the mom to be too and I used the Party Hat template from Kelleigh Ratzlaff's store. It is so easy to trace with your cameo and of course you can cut it by hand if you don't have an electronic cutter. Kelleigh's templates are so easy to put together. Check my post from last week so you learn how to trace a png file.

I use the pregnant girl silhouette from the SIL store and made a tag and stamped the sentiment with a dollar stamp from Michael's. I got that stamp long, long time ago and I was just able to use it lol. I saw it in the $ bin last week, it will be easy to spot.


The rosette and the hat were made using the same Bella Blvd. #402 Pretty in Pink Designer Paper, I got at Archiver's. I wanted to continue with that theme along all my party goodies. And as a last finishing touch, I added a small heart shaped rhinestone. So cute! The ribbon on the edge is from Simplicity. It didn't have a name, I just liked it and grabbed it . I was looking for the Maya Road ribbon that Theinly from Mod Paperie used for her daughter's hat but I was told that it has been discontinued. Oh and last, the pompom from the top was made using some twine I had in my stash.
