Football Cards and More

WOW, it feels like it has been forever since I last played with my cameo but the cable FINALLY came in and I was able to play some on Wednesday, I rested yesterday because we had a busy, busy day at the doctor's office and running errands but everything is OK and it is time to post what I have created so far.

The Cameo Creations blog hop was Fall/Football themed and these are the cards I had ready to go but couldn't cut because of the broken power cord.

The first card I made was this football helmet card, I used Pretty Paper Graphics cut file and it was so easy to put together. I made a mirrored copy of the helmet base, lined it up with the other side and welded the shaped together. If  you are doing this for the first time, I would recommend you to show the grid on your mat just to make sure the shapes are aligned and they will close evenly.

The second card I made was using a Bugaboo Digital Stamp, this little dude is so cute! And I used my copics to color it, too bad my 2 year old thought it needed a little pink on its face, lol. You can see her little scribble on the bear's face. I tried to use my blending pen to erase it but it would not work at all, I don't know why.

And finally, this is a bonus card I managed to make in a matter of minutes using the print and cut feature. I printed the main image twice because it was hard to trace just the Santa so I had to cut it by hand and then add some dimensional dots for an added "pop". This card will be sent to my friend's son, who has already mailed his letter to Santa and well, we all know Santa won't be bringing any gifts before time because....he's on vacation somewhere nice and tropical as you can see.

Don't forget that you still have time to submit your project and to become a Fan of the Cameo Creations Challenge, there are cool prizes for the winners.

ETA: Silhouette America will start selling replacement power cords soon, hooray!!! Debbie from the Silhouette Plus forum made the wonderful request and Sil. America accepted to start selling the cords in case you need one. I don't know when tho, but expect the cords in the store soon. Wahoo!!

See ya soon (I am working on other cute projects now)
