3D Cameo Creations Challenge.

Welcome crafty friends to a new Cameo Creations Challenge! Today, I will be your host. Thank you Monica for the great opportunity to be part of your awesome Design Team.

I got to choose the theme for this challenge. I wanted to make something in 3D and that includes things with dimension and my favorite are boxes! You know I love Kelleigh Ratzlaff's templates and I chose two of her files to work with. the first one is a Soap box.

The paper for the box and the rosette are patterns from the Silhouette store and this cute witch is from the Monster Mash Cutting file by Pretty Paper Graphics. I chose to do a print and cut instead of SVG piecing because the witch was too small and I didn't want to deal with the tiny pieces.

This is a close up of the rosette and image.

And to not waste my photo paper, I printed all of the collection of monster and made puppets for my children. They love paper puppets! So much so that they were fighting for Dracula and the poor man got torn in pieces, lol. Try making these puppets with your little ones, my oldest daughter loves helping me gluing them to the popsicle sticks.

Next, is the Carrot Box Template. The paper for this box is part of the Haunted Manor set by Doodlebug Designs. I got other super cute papers from the same set too, I just need time to play with them. The rosette is the coordinating side of my main paper design. Again, getting the most out of your double sided papers. the witch and tag are silhouette files.

I added a purple rhinestone on the witches eye to make her look even spookier. I also chalked the edges so make her look like she just got out of the woods lol. I used regular stick chalk from my children's crafty supplies.

The sentiment on the tag is also a file from the Silhouette store and instead of cutting a small piece of paper or vinyl (which was my initial idea but didn't turn out well because I broke the tip of my blade) I decided to get my Chomas Creations Pen Holder and write the sentiment with my Sharpie liquid pencil. It looks cute huh? The twine is from my stash of Trendy Twine.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Kelleigh Ratzlaff's  who has provided us a $10 gift certificate to be used at her store for you to enjoy playing with her awesome templates too.

Just post a 3D project on the Cameo Creations Challenge Blog and we will pick a random winner from there. If you want to see more projects, you can also become a Fan of our Facebook page and be entered to win a special goodie bag hand picked by me and filled with crafty supplies.
