Favor Bag and Hourglass Box

Today I took a break from my self imposed bed rest (boo!!) I have sciatica and the bigger this baby gets, the worse I feel the pain on my legs and lower back. I think I might have to start going back to the chiropractor again.

Now, onto crafty business :D

I made had the opportunity to work with two templates from Kelleigh Ratzlaff's store. The first one is seriously the cutest box EVER, you just have to have it in your library, it is seriously a MUST! This is my super duper favorite template of all times, including the files from the silhouette store. It is the Hourglass Box, look how cute it is! And so easy to put together, I might use this one for my baby shower favors.

The paper I used is from October Afternoon called Modern Homemaker and I think it is discontinued. The tag was cut using a file from the silhouette store and I layered some white paper, the base of the tag is the back of my main design paper. I love buying papers that have coordinating patterns on each side. I get so much use from them! You will see it on my next project too.

The second template is the Gift Bag, so cute! This bag (as well as all of Kelleigh's Templates) can be resizes, I decided to leave it at it's original size since I am not stuffing it with anything for now :P but I can see using this template over and over too.

The paper I used is from my favorite paper companies, Echo Park. Who doesn't like Echo Park papers? I think we ALL love EP! This is from the Yours Truly collection. This paper was released for Valentine's Day of this year but I like the colors so much and the patter is just perfect for any occasion. The scalloped circle and hear is a file from the store and I used a stamp from Unity Stamp, added some fake stitches with my gel pens and some ribbon from my stash. This ribbon, I believe is from a chocolate box we got last year from a friend from Germany. I love saving and re purposing things around the house, especially ribbons and tulle.

Files used:
Label (from the original files that come with your machine)
Unity Stamps from stash
Echo Park Paper - Yours Truly
October Afternoon Paper - Modern Homemaker
Ribbon and twine from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by! There are other cool boxes I made that I can't wait to show you! Come back next week for the Cameo Creations Challenge where I get to be the host.
