I want to start by giving special thanks to my lovely friends who helped me create all of the cuteness for my party. Lisa Norris from Pretty Paper Graphics who helped me get the graphics for the main theme of my shower: Grey, Yellow and White little cars. I am not a fan of sports or any of the "traditional" nursery themes out there and I found the perfect colors and everything else at Pottery Barn Kids, there is where I got the inspiration from. Lisa helped me get the graphics and svgs to work with.
My brother helped me design the invitations and soon the thank you cards which I printed at Officemax saving me a lot of money on ink.
Also, I want to thank Kelleigh Ratzlaff for having me in her creative team and for giving me the opportunity to work with her templates. I really enjoyed working with the Hourglass box and the Canister box templates, both my are favorites! I chose the Canister Box as a prize holder for the baby shower games, you saw the post last week. I am so lucky for being surrounded by so many talented people, thank you all.
Well, less talking more showing! Here are the pictures.
Diaper cake I made and decorated it with basic ribbon from Joann's. The sign was made using the print and cut feature on my cameo and the graphics are by Pretty Paper Graphics.
Remember this suitcase? I made one for Halloween and I thought it would be such a compliment as a diaper cake topper. I added the same cable ribbon I used on my other box and then made some baby shoes to go inside.
This is how the main table looked like. My friend Kara helped me with the set up. She also made the yummy, yummy, yuuuuummy cupcakes that everybody loved.
This is the right side, some flowers from Costco in a vase from the dollar store, more coordinating ribbons, cream puffs and vanilla covered marshmallows, some brie cheese, crackers and my favorite red pepper jam. YUM!
Left side of the table, cupcakes by Kara and I made the cupcake toppers using some themed graphics, coordinating papers and some toothpicks. The cut file is from the silhouette store.
Cupcake toppers made using my cameo and the pnc feature.
This is a close up of the banner, I printed and cut the little cars to coordinate with the paper and the banner cut file is from the silhouette store. The font is by lettering delights.
That's it! I hope you liked it too, I am in so much love with the colors I picked and I think the baby's room will look so pretty when it is finished, the bedding is on back order until next year so we are just sitting here waiting for it to be back in stock to start decorating his room. Meanwhile, I will keep gathering ideas on how to organize and maximize the nursery.
More thanks to my friend Kara who made the cupcakes and helped me with the set up and more and my friend Cindy who was there helping my husband in the kitchen too. I love you both!
And thanks to you for taking the time to visit my blog and leave me a comment. I read them all and they encourage me to keep crafting, keep them coming! So, see you on Thursday with another Cameo Creations, I hope you had a chance to enter the current challenge and good luck if you did.
Have a great week!
