Cameo Creations Blog Hop - Thanksgiving

Hello Dear Followers! And newbies too.

Today is blog hop day and we have a great reason for it: THANKSGIVING! Let me tell you that this is by far and if not the only American tradition/holiday I love. I wait every year and count down the days until Thanksgiving day, it is just my favorite time of the year.

Here is the line up:

For this project I decided to make something simple, yet adorable. I was given a Bugaboo stamp to work with and I thought of incorporating my new favorite crafting element on it: Le Pen by Marvin Uchida. I am sold on these super fine pens and will be buying a set as soon as I can. They work perfectly with my Chomas pen holder, you don't even need to take it apart or anything like that. Just insert the pen in the Chomas pen holder, adjust the screw and sketch away!

My Bugaboo stamp is still the main focus of my card, the sketching is such an adorable compliment for it. And the cardstock I used has two different tones! It is pretty cool! I am going to use that cardstock for my Christmas cards too.

For the card base, I just did an offset of the sketch frame and duplicated it above, them welded them and that made my card base, easy peasy!

Here is a close up of the sketching, I used  my daughter's stcickles for some added bling, lol and colored my main image with copics.

We have three wonderful sponsors for this hop:

$15 gift card to use at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons

$20 gift card to use at Scraptastical Kreations

And

$21 credit at Bugaboo Stamps!!!

Don't forget to submit your entry of a recent Thanksgiving project cut using your Silhouette machine, please just link us to your entry. Thanks!

Have a wonderful week and good luck!

  6. I'm going to have to try one of those holders. I only have the one that I got with my Cricut and found out last week it doesn't fit the Cameo :) Augh! Thanks for the link. I've been wanting to try the sketching with my Cameo too!

  7. It is so fun seeing all of the things that are available on the Cameo Silhouette. I just got mine for my birthday, so I am still learning how to use it.
