Cameo Creations Challenge - Anything Goes Layout.

Welcome to the Cameo Creations Challenge!! Today all you have to do is a scrapbooking layout and ANYTHING goes. Fun, huh?

I am not much of a scrapbooker and I have only made like three or four pages total since I started paper crafting. This is a very simple and clean layout. I wanted to do something with my favorite kind of ribbon (seam binding actually) and I wanted to preserve the natural color of it, my favorite colors are red and pink and those are in this payout too. And since this year is my 10th wedding anniversary I wanted to make something special for DH and I.

Flowers in a pot

Sorry I haven't updated my blog in what seems forever! But we are going to what was supposed to be an easy "kitchen remodeling" project which is now a MAJOR downstairs remodeling and I don't have a crafting area that gives me enough space to create. But this is what I managed to make in the little desk DH gave me to use in the mean while.

I have been obsessed with flowers lately, especially flowers that look REAL. Ana Fearer from More Paper than Shoes is amazing at making these awesome looking flowers. You HAVE to check her out! Also, this is one of my newest favorite blogs: Joanna  has lots of free tutorials too, she is so talented. I check her blog weekly for any updates.

This is what I ended up making for my daughter's teachers, flower pots and I added a gift card for School Box (I heard teachers love that place, lol)

Slider card tutorial

I forgot to add a tutorial for my slider card, I am sorry. I was sick and forgot to take pictures of the process, it is really easy and if you have any questions just ask away.

Cameo Creations Color Challenge

Hello there! Today is Cameo Creations Challenge day, the colors for this challenge are: CORAL, GREEN AND YELLOW and I made two cards to share with you. The first one is a fun card, it is a slider card that I made using print and cut, two dimes (because the sun was too small for a penny) and a bugaboo stamp. So cute! And the next one is a card I created for my daughter's teacher using the Chomas pen holder. I will send it with her on Friday, I hope she likes it.

I used a bugaboo stamp for the main image, the other elements are from the Silhouette store, I typed in the sentiment and the paper was created with colors from the studio default gallery and from a Design House Digital pack that I got a while ago.

Kelleigh Ratzlaff's New Templates Release

Woohaa!! Yesterday was my birthday and it was a very weird day! I woke up with vertigo symptoms, it was creepy! But then I had to get myself together and out of the bed to go eat lunch with my daughter, school lunch...yum! NOT! LOL. She took her lunch but I had a salad from the cafeteria and it was yuck!

That's all the chatter not into business! Kelleigh has done it again and she is releasing three awesome templates for you. I had the opportunity to play with them two days ago (I was on a roll!!) and I made three different projects using the templates.

First:
Roses!! Paper roses, who doesn't like paper roses? I love them! Remember my St. Patrick's Day project for the Cameo Creations? Well, I up-cycled that frame! I used some white acrylic paint as primer and then painted it over with some pink acrylic paint I have from another project I made before (the picture tray)

For this project, I used the rose in bloom file and a word art Kelligh gave us, I put it together and this is what it looks like:
