Today's challenge it's called LOVE YA, all you have to do, is make a Valentine's Day project that expresses LOVE. Any color, any shape, it is up to you. Good luck!
Here is what I made:
I felt like the box I made wasn't enough (*sigh*) so I made another project for this challenge, a Valentine's Day card that I sketched in my head and wanted to see how it would look on paper.
The little girl is just a shape from the silhouette store and I added my own sentiment using LD's Cotton Candy font (it is one of the few ones that look like single line fonts without using MTC)
I am so proud of how the heart pots came out looking, so pretty! I used three different pens, can you believe it? If you have a Chomas pen holder let me tell you something: DO NOT LOSE YOUR POPSICLE STICK!!! lol. See the green line across my design? Well, I thought I could "eyeball" my pen's position (out of laziness because the popsicle stick was next to me) and look what happened! I put it too low so the blade holder drug it across my design. So, I had to redo everything again! BTW, those are the colors I used and my stick has a warning written on lol...that's for my 7 year old who thinks my supplies are hers too.
Jin, from Under a Cherry Tree, used this double sided paper. I can't remember the name of it or where I bought it since the paper packs did not have a tag or sticker on but these packs were originally bought for my Christmas cards but I couldn't come with a neat idea for them so I didn't use them. This is the first time I use the paper. I used my hand cutter and it might have been my blade but it tore the top coat of the paper, I didn't like that! But It was a small tear so I could use the paper after all.
Don't forget to enter for a chance to win this awesome prize!! $10 gift card for Lettering Delights.
Thanks for stopping by!
