Picnic Baskets and Flower Pail

I am back with another cute project! I decided that I should start working with my SVGCuts files a bit more. I have only made just a handful of them and I own a bunch of kits (I feel like a hoardedl)

The Picnic in the Park set is so adorable! I had my eyes on the picnic basket since the kit was released...I know, I am late on the SVGcuts file trend but I like to work slowly with those files since they have so many pieces. This kit is by far my super favorite because the pieces are big and easy to put together.

That was my first basket and my since my girls were crafting with me, they both decided to make their own *with a bit of help of course*. We ended up making got ripped by the baby LOL!!!

This is another project I was slowly working on. I used Mom's Garden Gifts set. The roses took me a while to put together because they need a lot of attention to detail. The pail was put together with easy and with just a few steps. Wrapping the dowels was the biggest PITA ever! But I love the final results, so worth it for sure!

and let me show you a close up of the other basket too.

All the papers were printed at home. Since the patterned pieces from SVGCuts come in 12x12 format, I had to ungroup/release/make compound paths here and there to be able to fit in the 8.5x11 sheets I printed at home. I seriously need a 12x12 printer.

For the baskets, the base papers are from the AC cardstock mega pack. The elements and papers are from Echo Park and Lori Whitlock.

And for the pail, I used papers from the Ever After pack by Cosmo Cricket and AC cardstock for the roses.

Happy Crafting!!!

BTW, I have not been contacted by the winner of my giveaway :( If she doesn't email me soon I will get another winner on July 11 when I will be back with another Cameo Creations project.

  1. Eek - ripped by the baby! Oh well, these things happen.... I bet the girls had loads of fun 'helping' make these baskets & the pail of flowers looks amazing too.
